Neue Assistenz-Organistin in St. Michael
Ihre Studien an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (mdw) in Kirchenmusik und Orgel, Konzertfach bei Martin Haselböck, schloss sie mit Auszeichnung ab. Derzeit setzt sie ihre musikalische Ausbildung im Fach Sologesang bei Martina Steffl-Holzbauer fort und perfektioniert ihr Orgelspiel bei Balázs Szabó.
Die vielseitige Künstlerin tritt regelmäßig in unterschiedlichen Rollen auf: als Konzertorganistin, Sopranistin, Vokalensemblesängerin, Korrepetitorin, Chorleiterin sowie an verschiedenen Tasteninstrumenten wie Klavier, Cembalo, Harmonium und Celesta.
Sowohl als Organistin als auch als Sängerin interpretiert sie Werke aus verschiedenen Epochen – von der mittelalterlichen Musik bis zur Moderne. Ihre Konzerttätigkeit führte sie unter anderem in die Bulgarische Nationalphilharmonie (Leonard Bernsteins Chichester Psalms), ins Brucknerhaus Linz (Luciano Berios Rendering, Celesta-Part mit der Wiener Akademie unter der Leitung von Martin Haselböck) und ins Österreichische Parlament (mit Momentum Vocal Music).
Als Sopransolistin war sie in bedeutenden Werken wie Johann Sebastian Bachs Magnificat, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts Requiem und Vesperae solennes de confessore sowie Camille Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël zu hören.
Zuzanna Mika ist Preisträgerin des mdw great talent award powered by Christian Zeller sowie des Würdigungspreises der mdw.
Seit 2025 ist sie als Organistin an der historischen Sieber-Orgel (1714) in der Wiener Michaelerkirche tätig.

New assistant organist at St Michael's
The organist and soprano Zuzanna Mika has been working as assistant organist in the Salvatorian parish of St Michael since 2025.
She completed her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) in church music and organ, concert subject with Martin Haselböck, with honours. She is currently continuing her musical training in solo singing with Martina Steffl-Holzbauer and is perfecting her organ playing with Balázs Szabó.
The versatile artist regularly performs in various roles: as a concert organist, soprano, vocal ensemble singer, répétiteur, choir director and on various keyboard instruments such as piano, harpsichord, harmonium and celesta.
Both as an organist and as a singer, she interprets works from different eras - from medieval music to modern music. Her concert activities have taken her to the Bulgarian National Philharmonic Orchestra (Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms), the Brucknerhaus Linz (Luciano Berio's Rendering, celesta part with the Vienna Academy under the direction of Martin Haselböck) and the Austrian Parliament (with Momentum Vocal Music).
